NEUE GALERIE & CAFÉ SABARSKY

The paintings of OTTO DIX (1891-1969) were among the most graphic visual representives of the Weimer Republic. This exhibit at the NEUE GALERIE is the first one-man museum exhibit of the German artist ever held in North America. It includes more than 100 paintings and addresses the themes of war, portraiture, sexuality and religion. Join us for lunch at the museums’ fabulous CAFÉ SABARSKY, specializing in German and Austrian culinary delights. In the afternoon you will have time to visit additional museums nearby such as the MET, the GUGGENHEIM and/or the COOPER–HEWITT NATIONAL MUSEUM OF DESIGN. BUS COST: $60.00, Museum entrance and lunch are on your own.
